Cookie Notice

A plain-language account of the cookies and local browser storage used by Avapti’s public website and the ColleagueOne application.

Effective date: [DATE]

  3. Third parties
  4. Your choices
  5. Changes

1. What cookies and local storage are

Cookies are small text files a website stores through your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, keep small pieces of information on your device. They can remember a session, keep a security flow working, or preserve a preference such as colour theme.

This notice applies to avapti.com and the ColleagueOne application atapp.avapti.com. It should be read with ourPrivacy Policy.

2. What we use

We use only storage that is necessary to deliver requested functionality, protect accounts, or remember a user choice. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics trackers on the public website or in ColleagueOne.

CategoryPurposeTypical duration
Authentication and sessionKeep an authorised user signed in, maintain session integrity, and prevent unauthorised requests.Session or limited persistent period; exact inventory to be confirmed before publication.
Security and sign-in flowProtect sign-in, retain state during redirects, and help prevent fraud or abuse.Usually short-lived; exact inventory to be confirmed before publication.
PreferencesRemember a choice such as light or dark display mode on the current browser.Until cleared or replaced by the user.

Before publication, Avapti will insert the verified cookie and local-storage key names, providers, and expiry periods from the production deployment.

3. Third-party sign-in and connections

If you choose “Sign in with Google”, your browser communicates with Google. Google may use its own cookies or similar technologies on Google-controlled pages to authenticate you and protect its service. Google’s privacy and cookie terms govern those technologies. Avapti receives your name and email address from Google for account access.

When an authorised user opens a connected third-party service, that provider may use technologies under its own notice. Enabling a connection does not permit Avapti to place advertising trackers on our site.

4. Your choices

Most browsers let you inspect, block, or delete cookies and site data. Blocking strictly necessary storage may prevent sign-in, security controls, preferences, or other parts of ColleagueOne from working. Because we do not use optional advertising or analytics cookies, the site does not currently present an optional cookie-consent control.

Browser controls apply per device and profile. Consult your browser’s help pages for current instructions. You can ask us about browser storage athello@avapti.com.

5. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice if our use of cookies or similar technologies changes. We will revise the effective date and provide any consent or notice required by applicable law before introducing optional tracking technologies.
